Bicycle donations are what keep us going. In 2019 we put 681 bikes back into use in Devon. We will accept donations whatever state they are in. Even if we can’t save it, we can always strip the parts which we can put onto other bikes.
Whilst some of us think that you can never have too many bikes, sometimes our other halves or landlords might disagree. Sometimes we have to move and don’t have the space to take our bicycles with us. Sometimes teenagers can outgrow their bikes. Sometimes people just feel like being generous.
We are unable to make collections as we do not have a van, so it would be fantastic if you could drop your kind donation at our workshop on 61 Haven Road near the quay (we’re on the right in the photo above). You might know someone who works in Exeter who can drop it off for you, to avoid creating extra car journeys.
We are establishing a network of drop off points to make it easier for people to donate their bikes. If you can’t get your bicycle to our workshop you can arrange to leave it at one of the following sites:
- Briar Crescent, Wonford
- Lewis Crescent, Digby (St Loyes)
Please email us on [email protected] to arrange a drop off time.
