Answers to some of the most frequently answered questions about Ride On – Cycling For All.
Will you come and pick up my old bike?
Because it is rarely cost-effective, we don’t tend to pick up individual bikes. However, if you have several bikes then please get in touch and we may be able to arrange for a pick-up.
We do from time to time have designated pick-up points. We will collect bikes brought to these places.
How much do bikes cost in your workshop?
There is a wide range of bikes at different prices. Our children’s bikes start at around £20 for balance bikes up to £60 for those suitable for teenagers. Our adult bikes range from about £80 up to £200+. Most of our bikes are in the range of £90 – £130.
Will you fix my bike for me?
One of our charitable aims is to help people to learn how to service and care for their own bikes. Come along to one of our weekly Bring Your Own Bike sessions and you will be able to fix your own bike. You will have access to all our specialist bike tools and resources, as well as help from one of our qualified bike mechanics.
When are you open?
We are open from every day of the week, but run different services on different days. Details of our opening times are on our Contact Page.
Can you do a part-exchange for my old bike?
No, we don’t offer part-exchange for old bikes.
