Children’s Bike
Introduction
Our aim is simple: to get more people cycling more often through refurbishing second hand bikes and delivering education and training to keep bikes on the move.
Prices start around £90 for an adult’s bike, with kids’ bikes typically from £30-£90!
All bikes have been through rigorous checks by our qualified mechanics to ensure they pass industry-standard tests. For peace of mind, every bike comes with a 3 month warranty (note, we will ask you to complete a short survey to receive the warranty so that we are able to measure our impact).

Pricing and stock
We typically have basic lots of older, fully rigid mountain bikes that cost £90-135. These are fine for shorter trips for around town, but not suitable for rough terrain.
Hybrid bikes typically cost £140-220 and are usually in high demand. These are perfect for commuting, shopping trips and light traffic free trails.
We occasionally get road bikes as well – the prices of these vary, from around £120-200 for a vintage bike, and £200 + for a more modern road bike.
Buy an Adult’s Bike
We are experiencing incredible demand for our bikes. To give our team as much time as possible for working on bikes we no longer operate an online stock gallery.
Come and view the bikes we have on offer at your leisure. You’ll be able to test multiple bikes and we can work together to match you with a bike that fits your needs.
Bikes are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note, we do not offer part exchange, trade ins or long term rentals.
Buy a Children’s Bike

Whether you are looking for your child’s first bike or an upgrade when they outgrow their existing bike, it is important to choose the right size. While it may be tempting to get a bike they can “grow in to,” if the bike is too big or too small it can make an already tricky skill even harder!
With kid’s bikes, the key to sizing is wheel size. Take a look at our size guide below to get a rough idea of the size that should fit your child.
Height of Child (cm) | Age | Wheel Size (Inches) |
98-112cm | 3 – 5 yrs | 12” |
105-117cm | 4 – 6 yrs | 14” |
112-125cm | 5 – 7 yrs | 16” |
117-129cm | 6 – 8 yrs | 18” |
125-136cm | 7 – 9 yrs | 20” |
130-141cm | 8 – 11 yrs | 24” |
If your child is between wheel sizes then it is usually best to opt for the larger size.
The best way to ensure that a bike is the correct fit is to try it out. Our aim is to always ensure the correct fit and comfort so it meets the needs of the customer. Our bike mechanics are always on hand to give you plenty of information on sizing, maintenance and cycling.
Our smallest balance bikes start from £30 with prices slowly increasing through up to £90 for a 24″-wheeled bike. All our bikes are fully checked by a professional Cytech Level 2 mechanic and come with a 3-month warranty meaning you can be confident that our bikes are safe.
